ARACHNID GAMES
(Dynamic Installation "Al Piccolo Bar" of Bologna)

The installation in question, of great visual impact, was set up in the popular bar in Bologna, located in Piazza Verdi no. 8, back in 2005.
The commissioning client needed lighting that would enhance his fashionable bar. Using metal pipes from a ventilation system as a support system, on the circular vents were attached a few tensile structures similar to spider webs, ready to host some small vibrant spiders, assembled with long legs of white brass and tiny light bulbs. Flipping a switch, our five spiders begin to move and vibrate in their webs, and our pseudo-Olympics (the Arachnid Games) begin. The dramatic effect of light and shadows in motion captures the observer, immersing him in the wonderment of dynamic playfulness and the charm of the effects of light.
